Most homeowners reach a point where the junk just piles up — a garage full of furniture that never made it to the curb, a spare room that became a storage room, boxes from a move three years ago that never got unpacked. County Junk Removal is a local, owner-operated service based in south Charlotte. We handle the hauling so you don't have to.
What We Handle
We take almost anything from a home that isn't hazardous. That includes furniture of every kind, old appliances, mattresses, clothing, boxes, toys, exercise equipment, electronics, yard tools, and the general accumulation that builds up over years of living in a house. There's no need to sort it first or move it to the curb — we carry it from wherever it is.
- Sofas, sectionals, and bedroom sets
- Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other appliances
- Mattresses and box springs
- Garage contents and storage bins
- Renovation debris: drywall, lumber, flooring scraps
- Yard waste, old fencing, and outdoor furniture
- Full house cleanouts and estate contents
How the Quote Process Works
You don't need to schedule a separate estimate visit. Text a clear photo of your items to (980) 446-2900 and we'll reply with a price, usually within the hour. The quote covers everything: labor, truck, and disposal. No surprise fees for stairs, heavy items, or long carries.
If you'd rather call and describe what you have, that works too. Either way, you're talking directly to Erik or Henry — the owners — not a national dispatch center. You get a straight answer and a real price before we set a date.
Pricing
Our pricing is volume-based and all-in. You pay one price that covers the crew, the truck, and disposal at a licensed facility.
- Pricing is based on the volume of your load — from a single item to a full truckload
- Dense material (concrete, brick, dirt, shingles) is priced by weight rather than volume
- All quotes include labor, hauling, and disposal — no hidden fees
- Final price is confirmed on-site before any work begins
Dense material like concrete, brick, or dirt is priced by weight rather than volume. If your job mixes standard junk with heavy debris, we quote both components so you know the total before we start.
Our Truck Capacity
We run a 2019 Isuzu NPR dump truck with a 17-cubic-yard bed. That's meaningfully larger than the trucks most junk removal companies use. For most residential jobs — even full garage cleanouts or multi-room furniture hauls — we get it done in a single trip. That saves time and keeps your cost lower than a company that has to make multiple runs.
What Happens to Your Items
We sort as we load. Furniture and household goods that are still in usable condition get set aside for donation or resale wherever possible. Electronics go to appropriate recycling partners. What can't be donated or recycled is disposed of at a licensed facility. We don't just dump everything indiscriminately — we do it right.
Scheduling
We operate Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturday 8am to 4pm. Same-day and next-day appointments are regularly available. If you have a tight timeline — a move-out deadline, a listing going live, a renovation finishing up — tell us when you call. We do our best to accommodate urgent jobs when the schedule allows.
