Appliance Removal — No Disconnecting, No Moving It Yourself

By County Junk Removal  ·  Owner-Operated  ·  South Charlotte, NC

Old appliances are awkward, heavy, and often stuck in tight spaces. Moving a refrigerator across a kitchen floor — without damaging the flooring or throwing out your back — is harder than it looks. County Junk Removal handles appliance removal from start to finish. You don't need to disconnect it, move it to the garage, or figure out where it goes. We do all of that.

What We Remove

  • Refrigerators and freezers (all sizes, including garage units)
  • Washers and dryers
  • Dishwashers
  • Ovens, ranges, and stovetops
  • Microwaves (countertop and over-range)
  • Air conditioners and window units
  • Water heaters
  • Dehumidifiers and portable AC units

What You Need to Do Beforehand

For most appliances, you just need to unplug them before we arrive. For refrigerators, defrosting and emptying them ahead of time makes the job cleaner, but if you haven't had time, let us know when you call — we can work around it. For gas appliances like ranges, the gas line should be capped off before removal. If you're not sure whether something has been safely disconnected, ask us when you call and we'll walk you through it.

Responsible disposal: Appliances contain refrigerants, compressors, and metals that require proper handling. We don't dump them in a ditch. Refrigerants are recovered appropriately and metal components go to licensed recycling facilities where possible. If you're replacing a working appliance and want it donated rather than scrapped, ask when you book — we'll tell you whether it's a viable candidate.

Getting a Quote

Appliance jobs are simple to quote. Text a photo or just describe what you have to (980) 446-2900 and we'll get back to you quickly with a price. Single appliances often come in at the minimum load; multiple items will be quoted by volume. Everything — labor, truck, and disposal — is included in the price we give you.

Pricing

  • Pricing is based on the volume of your load — from a single item to a full truckload
  • Dense material (concrete, brick, dirt, shingles) is priced by weight rather than volume
  • All quotes include labor, hauling, and disposal — no hidden fees
  • Final price is confirmed on-site before any work begins

Scheduling

We operate Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturday 8am to 4pm. Same-day and next-day slots are regularly available. If you have a new appliance being delivered and need the old one gone first — a common situation — we can often schedule around your delivery window. Just give us the details when you call.

We serve Union County and south Mecklenburg, including Waxhaw, Monroe, Ballantyne, Matthews, Pineville, and Mint Hill. Call or text (980) 446-2900 to get started, or use the contact form for a written quote.
