Garage Cleanouts — Reclaim Your Space in One Trip

By County Junk Removal  ·  Owner-Operated  ·  South Charlotte, NC

The garage is where things go to wait indefinitely. A broken treadmill from 2018. Boxes from the last move that never got unpacked. Old paint cans, a spare fridge that stopped working, a lawn mower that hasn't run in years, tools that belong to a project you finished or abandoned. Most garages accumulate years of stuff, and most homeowners eventually reach a point where they want it gone — all of it, in one day.

That's exactly what County Junk Removal does. We specialize in full garage cleanouts that get you from completely stuffed to completely clear in a single appointment.

One Truck, One Trip

Our 2019 Isuzu NPR dump truck holds 17 cubic yards — one of the largest haul capacities available in this market. That's a meaningful advantage for garage cleanouts. Most garages — even two- or three-car garages packed floor to ceiling — load out in a single trip. You get it done in one day, not spread across multiple appointments.

We load everything. You don't need to sort it, move it to the driveway, or separate what's staying from what's going before we arrive. Walk us through the space, tell us what's staying if anything, and we handle the rest.

What Typically Goes in a Garage Cleanout

  • Old furniture that migrated from the house
  • Broken or unused appliances
  • Power tools, hand tools, yard equipment
  • Boxes of miscellaneous household goods
  • Sports and recreation equipment
  • Bikes, scooters, and outdoor toys
  • Holiday decorations and storage bins
  • Construction and renovation leftover materials
  • Old paint cans (check local disposal requirements — we'll advise)
What we do with it: We sort as we load. Items in good condition — usable furniture, working tools, exercise equipment with life left in it — get separated for donation or resale. We'd rather keep usable things out of the landfill. Anything that can't be donated or recycled gets disposed of properly at a licensed facility.

Hazardous Material Note

We can't haul household hazardous waste — that includes flammable liquids, pesticides, pool chemicals, and open paint cans. Sealed, solidified, or empty paint cans are generally fine. If you have a pile of old chemicals you're unsure about, let us know before we arrive and we'll help you figure out the right path for disposal. Mecklenburg and Union Counties both have HHW drop-off options.

Getting a Quote

For a garage cleanout, a photo or two gives us everything we need to give you an accurate price. Text photos to (980) 446-2900 or describe the situation when you call. We'll come back with a straightforward volume-based price — no surprise fees, no hidden costs.

Pricing

  • Pricing is based on the volume of your load — from a single item to a full truckload
  • Dense material (concrete, brick, dirt, shingles) is priced by weight rather than volume
  • All quotes include labor, hauling, and disposal — no hidden fees
  • Final price is confirmed on-site before any work begins

Ready to get your garage back? Text photos to (980) 446-2900 or use the contact page to get a quote. We serve Union County and south Mecklenburg, Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturday 8am to 4pm.
