Clearing a home after a loss, an estate sale, or a property transition is a different kind of job. There's often more at stake than the physical work — timing matters, the property needs to be ready quickly, and the people involved are managing a lot at once. County Junk Removal handles estate and property cleanouts with care and efficiency. We move fast, we work thoroughly, and we treat every property — and every situation — with respect.
Who We Work With
- Families clearing a loved one's home after a passing
- Executors managing estate timelines for listing or sale
- Real estate agents preparing a property for market
- Investors and property managers clearing foreclosure or REO properties
- Families managing a move into assisted living or a downsizing transition
- Attorneys handling estate administration with property clearance requirements
What's Included
An estate cleanout is a full-property clearing job. We remove furniture, appliances, clothing, kitchenware, books, boxes, yard equipment — everything that isn't staying. We work room by room, carry items from wherever they are in the home, and leave the property empty and ready for its next step.
Our 17-cubic-yard truck gives us the capacity to clear most homes in a single load. That matters when you're working against an estate deadline or a listing date — the job is done in one appointment, not stretched across multiple trips over multiple days.
Sorting and Donation
Before anything goes on the truck, we separate items that have donation potential — furniture in good condition, usable household goods, clothing, and kitchenware. If an estate sale has already happened and specific items have already been designated, just let us know what's staying and what's going. We work around whatever decisions have already been made.
For families who want to ensure certain items reach local organizations rather than the landfill, we can accommodate that. We're a local business and we have connections with local partners.
Pricing
Estate cleanouts are priced by volume, all-in. Labor, truck, and disposal are included. For most full-home estate cleanouts, the job falls between a half-truck and a full truck depending on the property size and what's left.
- Pricing is based on the volume of your load — from a single item to a full truckload
- Dense material (concrete, brick, dirt, shingles) is priced by weight rather than volume
- All quotes include labor, hauling, and disposal — no hidden fees
- Final price is confirmed on-site before any work begins
For large properties that may require multiple loads, we quote clearly before we start so there are no surprises. Dense material like concrete or flooring is priced separately by weight.
