Questions We Actually Get Asked

Straight answers to the most common questions about our pricing, process, what we haul, and how to get a quote.

Getting a Quote
Text a photo of your items to (980) 414-8320 and we'll reply with a real price — usually within the hour. You can also fill out our quote form or call us directly. We don't require an on-site visit before giving you a number.
Usually within the hour during business hours (Mon–Sat 8am–6pm). We answer early, so if you text at 7am, odds are good you hear back before 8. For after-hours requests, we respond first thing the next morning.

Yes — the price we quote you is the price you pay, as long as the job matches what we saw in the photo or what was described. We confirm your price before a single item is moved.

If something changes when we arrive (significantly more items than quoted, stairs or access we weren't told about), we'll tell you before we start — not after. You decide whether to proceed.

Scheduling & Availability
Yes — we frequently have same-day availability Monday through Saturday. Call or text early in the day for the best chance at a same-day window. We answer early, so don't hesitate to reach out in the morning.
We run Monday through Saturday, 8am–6pm. We answer texts and calls early — if you message before 8am, we'll typically see it and respond before the first job of the day. We're closed Sundays.
For the initial walkthrough, yes — you need to show us what goes and give us access to the property. But you don't need to stay for the whole job once we've confirmed scope. Many customers leave us to work and come back once we're done.
Pricing & Payment
Everything. Labor, loading, hauling, and disposal are all included. No fuel surcharges, no disposal add-ons, no surprises at the end of the job. Dense materials like concrete or roofing shingles are priced by weight rather than volume — we'll tell you that upfront, before we start.
We accept credit and debit cards, cash, and digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay). For smaller jobs, full payment is collected before pickup. For larger jobs, we take a deposit upfront with the balance due on completion.
Concrete, brick, dirt, gravel, tile, and roofing shingles hit the truck's weight limit long before they fill the box. A load that looks like a quarter truck by volume can max out our weight capacity before we're even a third full. Pricing by weight keeps the quote accurate and fair — otherwise we'd have to pad the price to protect against an unexpectedly heavy load.
The Job Itself
No. Just point to what needs to go. We handle all the lifting, carrying, and loading. If there are stairs, a long carry, or tight access we'll factor that into the quote — but nothing is on you to move ahead of time.
Yes. Before we leave, we sweep the area where your items were removed. We don't leave behind dust, packaging, or anything that fell out of the load during carry-out. The space should look like the stuff was never there.
We run a 17-cubic-yard Isuzu NPR dump truck. For most residential jobs — furniture, appliances, garage cleanouts, estate cleanouts — one trip is enough. If a job requires more than one load, we'll tell you that in the quote and price it accordingly.
What We Haul
Almost everything non-hazardous: furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, construction debris, yard waste, hot tubs, pianos, safes, pool tables, exercise equipment, garage clutter, estate cleanouts, and commercial office furniture. See our full What We Take page for the complete list.
We don't take chemical or hazardous waste, motor oil, paint, tires, asbestos-containing materials, medical or biohazard waste, or full propane tanks. If you're not sure whether something qualifies, text us a photo — if we can't take it, we'll point you to the right disposal route.
We donate usable items to local facilities, route electronics to certified e-waste recyclers, and haul the rest to the appropriate disposal site. We make the responsible choice whenever possible — and it's not just a talking point, it actually cuts our dump fees.
Service Area
We're based in south Charlotte and primarily serve Union County — Indian Trail, Waxhaw, Monroe, Stallings, Weddington, Marvin, Wesley Chapel, Fairview, Wingate, Unionville, and Mineral Springs. We also cover south Mecklenburg overflow: Ballantyne, Matthews, Mint Hill, and Pineville. We don't do north Charlotte, Lake Norman, or north Mecklenburg. Not sure if you're in range? Give us a call — we'll tell you straight.
Tight routes mean same-day availability and fair pricing. When we spread too thin geographically, we can't guarantee windows, jobs take longer, and drive time ends up in your price. Staying focused on Union County and south Mecklenburg lets us actually deliver on "same-day."
